Hanging high up on the side of the house (facing the lake) there were these sort of bias reliefs, some of which had Roman columns carved in. They were cut into squares, as if they had been collected from different buildings. They seemed half-finished, tiny squares within them seemed missing like works in progress. Rocket Bike feat. X-Men Sunday, 17-Sep-23 15:55:05 UTC In the dream I was working on a propulsion device that was supposed to help The X-Men defeat a large Sentinel. It was nighttime and I was riding my bike on top of a roof in a city (medium sized, buildings with a few floors but not skyscrapers). I activated the device, which was attached to a bike, and the bike took off flying. At first I was happy (I could see over rooftops and alleys and the sidewalk and street below) but when it failed to decelerate where and when I thought it would then I knew I had overshot my mark and was in trouble. I kept waiting for the descent to start but it didn't until finally I was out over the water alongside the coast/shore of the city. At that point, I could also see that there were some fisherman near where I thought I might land. I decided to just close my eyes and brace for impact. I waited and waited but nothing happened. I actually had a lucid moment where I thought I must have been dreaming so I opened my eyes expecting to be awake but I was still in the dream only now I was in the back of a cargo plane (still at night) being flown by whoever was in charge (either of the propulsion project or the X-Men). I said something to effect of "Since I'm not dead, I'm guessing they defeated The Sentinel")
